Living in a Zoo

I was supposed to go take pictures with a friend this morning, but turns out she couldn't make it :( As a result, I decided to take a photoshoot at home with my pets.

I do live in a zoo after all.

Allie was interested in what Sasha smelled like apparently...

Nice big yawn from Sasha

Shoeless Joe stretching out under a chair.

Allie.

I love this picture of my Buddy!!
Makes him look like a puppy again.

Sasha is such a mess, but cute as a button :)

The book I am almost finished with!!

I was trying to read when the following pictures ensued:
Too bad it's blurry, but it was too funny not to share!
The jump attack! look at that air!

Scoping the prey

Sasha is encouraging the fight.

Allie, "Come at me bro."

The end result of the battle?
Allie scampered off onto a table, leaving Sasha in the dust.

My first OFFICIAL wedding

On June 9, 2012, I had the privilege of photographing my first OFFICIAL wedding!!
My freshman English teacher from high school asked me to take her engagement photos (see previous posts) AND her wedding pictures!

I have been blessed with amazing friends who trust me enough to spread my name by word of mouth or ask me themselves if I would like to take their pictures.

In the upcoming months, I have been booked for 3 more weddings! I am so grateful that people trust me enough to capture some of their most cherished moments.

The wedding cake!

The bride before putting on the dress!

Their first official family picture!

Her boys walked her down the walkway and gave her away.
Precious moment.

My favorite picture from that day.
You can see Aaron's tear on the corner of his eye.
He was crying from happiness after the ceremony.

Look at that happiness!

You may now kiss the bride!

The wedding was running a little behind schedule,
but she still had a smile on her face :)
She made for the calmest bride I have ever seen!

Final hair touch-ups! Yes, she did her hair herself!

After the ceremony, her older son Wesley.

This picture just radiates with happiness.

The rings.

The doors keep opening with photography... so what does that mean?? Hm...
