FLowers

My friend Lexie's older sister, Katie, has been giving me photography lessons for the past couple of weeks. Last friday we went to a flower nursery and Katie taught me a lot about depth of field and how to use aperture and shutter speed. I'd always heard about these things but never had a solid grasp on these basic fundamentals. These are just a few of the pictures I took last friday. :)

  1. These look great Jessica! You're doing a great job with the depth of field. My favorites are probably the last two. I really like your choice of composition and your attention to color detail is very good. Can't wait to see more and teach you a little bit about editing! That third one might make a really great black and white! :) See you Friday!
